Through the experience of praying with local Mozambicans it became clear that the local christians have little knowledge of the Bible. Because Sarinha beliefs that intercessory prayer is essential in releasing the children of Mozambique from the bondage of darkness, we plan to extend the education by means of a Bible school. This is also consistent with the needs we see in the Foundations of Faith course, as is now given time (currently almost 70 students). ![]()
The theological education shall be easy accessible for youth from different churches. An accredited Bible College or for example a D.T.S. (from Youth with a Mission) is often too expensive or too far away and most churches don’t have their own education program. Sarinha will provide in this need by offering part-time theological education for a small amount of money. In the future Sarinha would love to develop a full-time Bible School, something for which Mozambicans go to South Africa at the moment. Having in mind the growing number of Pentecostal churches, Sarinha beliefs that there is a growing need for theological education, especially for the churches in the provence of Sofala. We shall visit other Bible Schools for the creation of a network of teachers so that we can exchange teachers and experience. Sarinha foresees the need for a piece of land and a building with beds for students and conference visitors. |
We have compassion for the children of Mozambique and our main desire is to proclaim Life, Release, Hope, Comfort, Forgiveness, Joy and Righteousness over them. This is in order that there may come a turning-point in the history of the people of Mozambique.
